Description/Critique:

Happy Father's Day! In honor of Father's Day, we made a chocolate truffle cake. It was pretty easy and we replaced the traditional "fresh rose" garnish with a decoration more appropriate to the holiday. We decided that we had overcooked the actual cake a little, but the filling was good.

The mousse turned out with a grainy texture and excessive sweetness. Also it was said that, "the chocolate taste wasn't as intense as it should have been" - Angie (Mom)
